The history of coffee dates back to the tenth or fifteenth century and its original home was from Ethiopia. It was known in the Ottoman court and began to spread to the rest of the Middle East, southern India, Persia, the Horn of Africa, North Africa, Italy, Europe, Southeast Asia, and then to America.

It was mentioned for the first time in Al-Razi’s book “Al-Hawi” and it was also mentioned in another book by Ibn Sina, “The Law of Medicine”.
It was very popular with all segments of society and among the clergy as well, as it was a popular drink for them and was called "the wine of the righteous."

Coffee has many and many benefits, including on the scientific level:
